Travelling In Faith As The Early Church Grows – from the Xstream Group

God gave Paul and Barnabas
A special job to do
To spread the news of Jesus,
But he'd be with them too!
By his Holy Spirit
He would be their guide,
A special Friend and Helper
Always by their side.

BCY update - February 2010 - Intern
By the time you are reading this, Mark will have been working with us for around a month – and we are delighted to say that we have already received some amazing financial gifts arriving in the post. We took a leap of faith in inviting Mark, and God has proven Himself faithful in meeting some of our current financial needs! A massive thanks to those of you who have given one-off gifts and increased your giving for the duration of Mark’s internship – your generosity in responding to the nudge of the Spirit has answered our prayers and will be of huge benefit to both Mark and BCY in the coming months. If you would like to add your financial support to that already received, please get in touch.

It is an enormously exciting time for all of us! As we have mentioned previously, one of our priorities going forward is investing in young people with potential. We are already seeing this as a chance to begin to develop an internship programme with BCY, and it is our hope to see this up and running within the next 3 years. Please pray for our work in this area - lots of behind-the-scenes legwork, research and networking to be done! We would also be grateful for your continued prayers for us and Mark over the next six months.

Bury Town Pastors
There will be a new training course soon starting on Saturday 27th February. (application closing date 1st Feb). If you would like to be involved, please see Vanessa Harrison or the website.
